That’s right, the president-elect may be forced to give up his treasured Blackberry. As per the Presidential Records Act, all of the president communications must be put in the official record and are subject to public review and even the threat of subpoenas. What does this means for the president-elect? Time to turn over that Blackberry!
Mr. Obama could recycle his Blackberry with Recycle 4 a Cause to benefit a local or national non-profit organization. As for the rest of us, our e-mails might not all be subject to subpoenas, but we can certainly all do the right thing and recycle our old cell phones and PDA’s to benefit hunger relief, soldiers, domestic violence prevention, refugees, pets and wildlife, clean world water, or global warming prevention!
Other presidential Blackberry fans include John McCain and Hillary Rodham Clinton!
